Helping Our Customers Succeed

MyCase CEO Jim McGinnis Shares His Thoughts on Our Inaugural Customer Conference

The very first MyCase Customer Conference was held last week and was—by all accounts—a huge success! Customers from across the country attended, and we truly enjoyed the many opportunities to both engage with them and arm them with the knowledge needed to keep up with the rapidly-changing legal landscape.

Our inaugural conference consisted of a diverse agenda, covering everything from legal industry trends to the latest product updates from MyCase. Throughout the virtual event, attendees had the opportunity to participate in 30 different networking and educational sessions with a direct link to fellow MyCase customers and the MyCase team.

A highlight of the conference, New York Times bestselling author Josh Linkner’s keynote speech on creative problem solving challenged attendees to think outside the box. Armed with the tips provided in his talk, attorneys were encouraged to “create rituals that support the creative process and allow us to become creative problem solvers and thinkers.”

Our customers also had various opportunities to learn about the latest MyCase news and updates and how to better leverage MyCase to support their firms’ business goals.

We shared the news of three new additions to the MyCase portfolio of legal software solutions—Soluno (Legal Accounting), CASEpeer (Practice Management for Personal Injury Firms), and Woodpecker (Legal Document Automation).

Also announced were two significant feature updates to MyCase, both of which will be available next year:

  1. MyCase Drive – a complete desktop document management and organization experience.
  2. MyCase Accounting – full-fledged accounting capabilities within MyCase.

One of our most popular sessions, led by a panel of MyCase customers, focused on collaborating in a virtual world. Managing Attorneys Vi Nanthaveth, Benson Varghese, and Aaron Feldman shared how their firms take advantage of recently-released collaboration features in MyCase to resolve cases quickly and get paid faster.

“During the pandemic, we weren’t able to meet with folks face-to-face. But, eSignature in MyCase has been a great tool and makes things so much easier. It’s accessible to our clients and secure. For purposes of convenience, it’s mutually beneficial to both us and our potential clients”

Vi Nanthaveth

“Fully secure messaging in the Client Portal means client communications aren’t stored on a mobile device. This means I don’t have to worry about my client’s phone being seized and used as evidence against them; I love it. It’s more efficient for us and it’s more secure for our clients.”

Benson Varghese

“Between the secure messages and the text messages, the communication flows pretty easily. Overall, what my clients get through the use of MyCase is that they can stay connected. Knowing what’s happening in their case keeps them engaged without necessitating my staff’s time to send frequent, manual updates.”

Aaron Feldman

Hearing that MyCase helps our customers make a difference in the lives of their clients is what inspires us to continue innovating and providing our customers with the tools they need to get the job done.

Whether we’re hosting a virtual conference or meeting with our customers in person, MyCase is dedicated to helping legal professionals of all stripes. Here’s to what the future holds for MyCase and to the people who make it what it is. Thank you all again for your engagement and I look forward to seeing everyone next year!
