Case & Client Notes

The MyCase Team is committed to listening to our users and making sure that we develop features that are going to be useful to them. Accordingly, we are proud to announce the new Notes feature. Available for use now is the new easy to use notes feature which allows you to quickly document anything in a case file or client file. Notes can be added through the quick add selector in the top right of the screen, or from the client and case details pages. The notes are displayed in the case or client details page, depending on which you assigned the note to, and can be edited in line, without the need to open any other windows or boxes.

Our notes feature will also give you an audit trail regarding updates or edits to each note, a subject line, and a date stamp. This feature was widely requested. We took our time with it and made sure that it was simple to use but accomplished everything that you wanted it to!

Also, the MyCase team has made a minor user experience upgrade to one of our features. When you add an item (appointment, document, note, etc.) from the details page for that particular case or client, the case or client field will be pre-populated for you. This just means that you will not have to tell MyCase which case or client it is assigned to, it will already know. If you add an item through the quick add selector it will not pre-populate that field.
