Get To Know MyCase’s Chris Dall, Sales Development Representative

What is your position with MyCase?

I am a sales development representative for MyCase.

What does your job entail?

My position entails outbound calling and lead nurturing of trials to help them during the free trial period of MyCase.

What is the most difficult part of your job?

The hardest part is not always being able to reach new trial customers once they’ve signed up, since our goal is to make sure all of their questions are answered. So reaching voicemails or receiving bad contact information is frustrating since I want to help them make the most of the trial period.

What’s the best part of your job?

Helping a potential customer feel comfortable enough to move forward with the software and sign up for MyCase is very satisfying.

How did you end up working for MyCase?

When I finished school and was looking for work, Appfolio and MyCase were posting positions on the school employment page, so sent in an application and resume.

Where are you originally from and how did you end up in Santa Barbara?

I was born and raised in Santa Barbara, so I’ve always been lucky enough to live in this beautiful town.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

In my spare time I like to go on hikes, surf, snowboard, and try new places to eat. Actually, to be honest, I just like to eat!

Do you have any unusual hobbies?

Currently I am training for my second Ironman triathlon, so this takes up a significant amount of my time, but I enjoy the training.

Tell me about your family/pets, etc.?

I have a sister who is two years younger than me, and my mom and dad, so a family of four. I have grew up with golden retrievers, but unfortunately right now I don’t have any pets.

Do you have a favorite saying or quote and if so, what is it and why?

“The only easy day was yesterday.” – Navy SEALs

This quote reminds me that no matter what happened yesterday, there is always work to be done today, and that it never gets easy, so always focus on being mentally and physically ready for the task at hand.
