Insult Your Opponents, Then Demand Trial By Combat

supa fightI’m quite sure there must be a book out there called “Practicing Law 101″ that includes the recommendation that one liken opposing counsel’s motion papers to a ” a glorified comic book piled on top of pure and adulterated extortion wrapped in a transparent abuse of legal process” and then subsequently refer to opposing counsel’s affirmation as a “Comic Book Affirmation.” Which is then followed by the suggestion that every motion should conclude with a demand for “trial by combat.”

And if that book exists, I’m also pretty sure this attorney’s copy of that book is dog eared and falling apart:
