This year’s conference is being held from March 7th – 10th in a different location than year’s past: the Hyatt Regency Chicago. The location may have changed, but the forward-thinking tech focus of the conference hasn’t. It’s a great place to connect with like-minded lawyers and legal technologists. Techshow CLE seminars cover all the topics you need to know to get your law firm up to speed with 21st century legal technology tools. The EXPO Hall
The EXPO Hall is the place to be if learning about the latest legal software tools is a priority for you this year. Even if you don’t plan to attend the conference, you can still visit the EXPO Hall by picking up a free EXPO Hall pass here. Of course, there’s more to Techshow than the seminars and the EXPO Hall. Networking and nights out on the town are just as important. The good news is that there are lots of ways to get out there and network – and have some fun!
For starters, on Wednesday, March 7th, the Start-Up Pitch Competition will be held from 5-6 pm in the Plaza Ballroom (lobby level). Watch presentations from the 15 competitors and then cast your vote for the most innovative company.
Then right afterwards, there’s a welcome reception which will be held from 6 -7:30 pm in the EXPO Hall.
Then on Friday night March 9th from 5:30-7pm, the annual “Beer for Blawggers” event will be held at the Emerald Loop Irish Bar, 216 N Wabash Avenue.
You’ve gots lots of choices when it comes to dinner at Techshow. You can meet the speakers and network with friends and colleagues at the Taste of Techshow dinners. The dinners are held on Thursday and Friday nights and you can sign up online or once you arrive at the conference.
