What is your position with MyCase?
I am a Website Production Specialist. I work with MyCase customers to build and maintain websites for their firms.
How did you end up working for MyCase?
Initially, I was brought on by Appfolio as a Website Production Specialist. After a few months, a similar role with the MyCase team opened up, and I moved into my current position.
What does your job entail?
I work with attorneys and other professionals using MyCase to create modern websites and manage the online presence for their firms.
What is the most difficult part of your job?
A challenging part of this job is collaborating closely with the attorneys in order to customize each website and get all of the information I require to meet their needs. These are very busy people! Getting ahold of them and getting their creative juices flowing can be tough. Of course, that’s not always the case!
What is the best part of your job?
Once a site is completed and launched, it is very rewarding to hear some of the great things people have to say about their website and their experience working with me throughout the process.
Where are you originally from and how did you end up in Santa Barbara?
I was born and raised in Marin, up near San Francisco. I came to Santa Barbara when I started college at UC Santa Barbara, and I have never left.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Most of my favorite things to do involve being outdoors and active with friends. Every week you can find me running on the beach, hiking, playing soccer or volleyball, and walking around the town. I also enjoy playing guitar and spending time with my friends/family.
Do you have any unusual hobbies?
After one of my friends came back from Cambodia last year, he gave me a Cambodian hacky sack. I had never seen one before, and we have been kicking it around recently. If you do not know what that is, it’s worth a Google search!
