I am a sales development representative for MyCase.
How did you end up working for MyCase?
I worked in marketing and public relations in the legal field before learning about MyCase. Not only is the product outstanding–it’s a full fledged law practice management platform that is incredibly intuitive–the company is even better! I couldn’t help but join the team and now I have the privilege to work with some of the most talented people in the industry!
What does your job entail?
I work with prospective clients to make sure they get the most out of their trial. Whether they need training, demos, or a personalized plan for switching over to MyCase – I’m here to make that process easy!
What is the most difficult part of your job?
Getting ahold of prospective clients to ensure they have the resources they need available to them throughout the trial process.
What is the best part of your job?
Assisting clients and customers and helping make the process of finding the right software easy. I love it when I hear back from customers after their transition to MyCase and they tell me how easy it is to manage their practice with MyCase.
Where are you originally from and how did you end up in Santa Barbara?
I am originally from Marrakech, Morocco. I came to the United States when I was 13 years old and learned English pretty quickly. I later chose to go to college in Santa Barbara and have lived and worked here ever since.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my spare time, you’ll usually find me traveling to dive spots, skiing, reading, or learning a new hobby.
Do you have any unusual hobbies?
I took a class for welding/sculpting and ended up loving it! My favorite pieces to create are Arabian swords usually made from Italian or Chinese marble.
Tell me about your family/pets, etc.
Most of my family lives in a Berber village outside of Marrakech. When we get together, there is nothing but great food, music, and dance.
Do you have a favorite saying or quote and if so, what is it and why?
“Research, personal commitment, and strategic thinking are everything.” – Richard Branson
That saying has been the driving force behind everything I do. I have found it to be one of the most helpful pieces of advice I have ever been given.
