MyCase is pleased to announce Workflow!
Workflow makes automating your processes a breeze. You can now create workflows based off the type of cases you are working on and apply those to any new cases you create.
How does it work?
With customized sets of tasks and appointments that can be based on unique date calculations, it has never been easier to set up a case in any particular practice area or for any specific case milestone. Whether you want to streamline your client intake process or create templates for important dates that relate to specific trials, MyCase Workflow has you covered. You can even use workflow to calculate your local court calendar rules and deadlines.
It’s a simple task to create a workflow. First, you create a template of tasks and events and then create custom date calculations. Once you’ve done that, with the simple click of your mouse, you can easily apply the customized workflow to all related cases. It’s that easy!
What are the benefits of Workflow?
- With workflow, you can practice law more efficiently, saving you time and money.
- Drastically reduce the time spent on routine tasks – with each new matter, you simply select a saved workflow template and then enter the date parameters. The tasks/events are instantly populated!
- You can easily create customized common workflows for cases in any practice area.
- Workflow provides the added benefit of ensuring consistency in case management.
How much does it cost?
Workflow is a free feature that is automatically included in the MyCase platform.

If only you could add a workflow to a contact, then we could use MyCase as a CRM and sales workflow tool.

That’s a great thought! I’ll pass that idea on to the development team. Perhaps there’s a way for them to make that happen. Thanks for the suggestion!

Alvin–Thanks for the comment. I’ll be sure to pass along your request to the development team. While that’s not on our immediate development radar, it may be in the future.

Niki, a related option for your development team to explore regarding CRM functionality is adding Zapier integration into mycase. Then MyCase users could add automation rules to integrate MyCase with their cloud CRM systems (and other SaaS services). In case you’re unaware, one of your primary competitors (rhymes with “Rio”) already has Zapier integration.
