MyCase Makes A Difference For Flood-Stricken Louisiana Lawyers

Give Concept Metal Letterpress Word in DrawerLast month, residents of Baton Rouge, Louisiana experienced unprecedented flooding. The disastrous flooding caused upwards of $2 billion in damage and devastated the surrounding region. People from across the country watched horrified from afar, wishing something could be done to help all of the displaced families and businesses.

At MyCase, we’re all about giving back, so when we were contacted and asked if we could donate our services to help Baton Rouge-area lawyers who had been affected by the flooding – with estimates that nearly 90% of lawyers in the area had lost their offices due to flooding – we jumped at the opportunity.

We were advised that the Louisiana State Bar was holding a disaster recovery CLE for affected lawyers and we wanted to doing everything we could to help those lawyers get back on their feet. That’s why we offered 6 months of MyCase for free to 50 lawyers in attendance at the CLE. It was the least we could do to help those lawyers recover from such a horrific and life-altering disaster. Hopefully, our donation will make their lives – and the lives of their clients – just a little bit better.
